2016 marked the inaugural Golden Ball Award Gala.
The Golden Ball Award Gala aims to celebrate the impact of soccer on the community and surrounding areas of Omaha, while honoring the excellence of the individual (youth and adult) athletes, teams and community champions, in addition to unifying the community.
We would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made our Inaugural Annual Golden Ball Award Gala Fundraiser a success. Not only did we have a fantastic time, but we also raised funds to run programs next year.
We also want to thank our amazing volunteers, for all their hard work. We heard a lot of praise from guests at the event, on how wonderful our people were. We feel very blessed to have such great supporters around us.
And lastly, this event would not have been so great without the backing of all those who were able to join us for the Golden Ball Award Gala! We are appreciative of all of your generosity and the outpouring of support you showed our organization – and all of the kind words so many of you had to say to us at the after-party. We want each of you to know how much each of your contributions will make – in changing the lives of these young athletes.
